Heating wheel bearing housing
Tool for pressing in wheel bearing.

2. Screw the large ram into the workshop press.

*
The wheel bearing must not come into contact with magnetic objects (e.g., magnetic screwdriver, magnet).
*
Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.
*
Grease the toothing of the drive shaft slightly with aluminum paste Optimoly TA.
*
Drive shafts must not be left hanging from the joint stop! Tie up.
*
Use new screws and lock nuts.
*
Observe correct tightening torques.
3. Place pipe T10230/14 -1- under the workshop press and position the wheel bearing housing flat. Insert the wheel bearing straight and at the correct
position. Position the pressure piece T10205/10 -2- flush onto the wheel bearing -side arrows-.
4. Carefully press in the wheel bearing as far as it will go -direction arrow- (monitor pressure gauge: the rapid pressure increase indicates that the
wheel bearing is in its installation position).
