Heating wheel bearing housing

Tool for pressing in wheel bearing.

2. Screw the large ram into the workshop press.
3. Place pipe T10230/9 -3- under the workshop press and position the wheel bearing housing flat. Insert the wheel bearing straight and at the correct

position 4.

The wheel bearing must not come into contact with magnetic objects (e.g., magnetic screwdriver, magnet).

Screws and nuts are Geomet-coated and must not be greased.

*

Grease the toothing of the drive shaft slightly with aluminum paste Optimoly TA.

*

Drive shafts must not be left hanging from the joint stop! Tie up.

*

Use new screws and lock nuts.

*

Observe correct tightening torques.

In the correct position means: The multiple-pole ring must point towards the inside of the vehicle. Check the magnetization = correct installation
(e.g. with a paper clip).

4. Position the pressure piece T10205/10 -2- flush onto the wheel bearing and position the ram against it -1-.
