Removing ball-joint bearing

Tools for pressing out ball-joint bearing, 1 - pressure plate 402, 2 - small ram

7. Place the wheel bearing housing onto the pressure plate 402 in such a way that the cut-out -arrows- does not cover the bore for the ball-joint

bearing. Get a second worker to hold the wheel bearing housing.

Screw the small ram into the workshop press. Carefully press out the ball-joint bearing -2- (bearing drops out) -direction arrow-.
