1.General Information
Paint Code Locations
Alliance/Encore - Upper color code is in position 14 and lower color is in position 19 on the vehicle code plate attached to the driver side strut tower.
Cherokee/Wagoneer 70 Series - Color code is on the lower left corner of the vehicle code plate located on driver's side of radiator support (code is 2
digits for single color - 4 digits two tone).
CJ/Scrambler/Grand Wagoneer/Truck - Color code is on the vehicle identification plate mounted on the engine compartment dash panel.
Eagle - Color code is on the body identification plate located on the driver's door.
Renault Fuego - Color code is on sticker attached to driver's side strut tower.
Renault LeCar (Canada only) - Color code is ink stamped on driver's side inner fender panel opposite of the headlamp.
Usage Recommendations
Some of the intermix formulas outlined in section 4 may not exactly match the factory color and are more suitable for complete refinishing operations.
These formulas are identified with an asterisk (*) after the paint manufacturer's code number.
For spot painting where an intermix formula is identified with an asterisk, the pre-mixed factory package paint is recommended.
