Fit the retaining clip (B) so that it is firmly attached to the bracket but does not lock the cable sheath.

Pull the cable sheath (C) down with minimal force so that the cable is just tensioned.

Press the retaining clip (D) into place.
6. Carefully remove the locking pin (A).
7. Check the function of the backrest by folding the backrest forward and back 20 times.
8. Set the backrest in locked position. Check that there is a certain amount of play in the control arm, approx. 5-8 degrees.
9. Fit the backrest cover in accordance with WIS - 8. Body - Seats - Adjustment/Replacement - Backrest cover, front seat, CV.
