Trip Computer: Description and Operation
Trip Computer
There are two trip computer variants, SID 1 and SID 2.
The trip computers SID 1 and SID 2 have the following functions in common:

TEMP (outdoor temperature)

DTE (distance on remaining fuel).

FUEL (average fuel consumption)
-
SPD (average speed)
The SID 2 trip computer has the following additional functions:

DIST (distance to destination)
-
ARRIV (arrival time)
-
ALARM (time alarm)

SPD W (speed warning)
The trip computer is controlled with the buttons under the display. To be able to perform the calculations required to present the information described
above, the SID unit uses the following information:

Time, "own" clock
-
Vehicle speed, unit km/h (mph)
-
Fuel level, unit litre (gallon)
-
Odometer reading, unit km (miles).

Fuel consumption since starting, unit ml
SID 1 and SID 2 functions with ignition ON
CHECKING appears on the display for approx. 4 seconds; it no CHECK message is shown, the function which was previously selected will be shown
unless:
-
the outdoor temperature is in the -3 °C to +3 °C range, in which case the outdoor temperature will be shown.
