Push the lever that the wire attaches to further towards the panel until it unlocks the gears.

8.

Pull the lever down and out of the hole.

9.

Pull the spindle out through the rear of the panel.

Fitting

1.

Use grease from the parts that have been removed to grease the spindle and lever. Grease the ring gears and place a bit where the ball will be
seated.

2.

First fit the spring to the spindle, then the ball.

3.

Insert the spindle into the panel until the ball stops against the panel. Use a small screwdriver to depress the ball. At the same time press in the
spindle which will snap into the correct position.

Important:

Do not twist the spindle once it has snapped into the correct position.

4.

Fit the lever to the panel.

5.

Twist the lever clockwise, as seen from above, until it snaps into position.

6.

Fit the temperature control knob.

7.

Attach the wire to the panel.
