IMPORTANT
Secure each injector clip with a narrow cable tie. Make sure it is positioned correctly and tighten it. Otherwise, there is risk of the injectors coming
loose from the fuel rail during removal.

Clean the area round the injectors with compressed air.

Remove the 2 rail retaining bolts.

Disconnect the pressure regulator vacuum hose.

Carefully prise loose the rail with 2 crowbars or similar tools.

Carefully lift out the rail.

Plug the nozzle orifices.

To fit

Remove the plugs from the nozzles and lubricate the injector O-rings with acid-free vaseline, part no. 30 06 665.

Carefully lift the rail in place.

Fit the rail with fuel rail and injectors, 2 screws.

Connect the pressure regulator vacuum hose.

Remove the cable ties around the injectors.

Position the cable channel. Spray the injector connectors with Kontakt 61, part no. 30 04 520, and plug them in.

Fit the cable channel with the 3 screws.
