A personal communication must be sent to the owners of cars already delivered requesting them to get in touch with the nearest Saab garage as soon as
possible to have the nonconformity rectified. Cars affected

Saab 9-3 model year 2001 with chassis numbers 12024313-12025105. Background

On some suspension arms the grease can leak out of the ball joints, which can lead to a shortened useful life of the ball joints.

79 79 578 Nuts, 2

Procedure

Check box A1 of the modification identity plate before proceeding. Continue as follows if the box has not been marked.
