Warning: Take care if the car is warm. The coolant is hot and there is also a risk of burning yourself on the manifold.
1. Open the cap on the expansion tank and release the pressure.
2. Raise the car.
3. Remove the front lower cover.
4. Drain the coolant from the radiator.
5. Lower the car to the floor.
6. Undo the hose clip on the upper radiator hose.
7. Remove the fan assembly.
8. For cars with automatic transmission, also remove the connections to the oil cooler on the transmission.
Note: Have a receptacle handy to catch any fluid spill.
9. Loosen the cooling system vent hose.
10. Unplug the A/C compressor's connector.
