Adjusting The Fuel Gauge
Adjustment of the fuel gauge must be carried out in several steps. There are 7 different commands for this in Tech 2:
1. Tank offset - Adjustment of sensor. This command adjusts the sensor itself (tank sensor input to main instrument unit) and lifts/lowers the entire
scale (works setting 2 litres).
2. Tank Empty - Breakpoint for empty tank (works setting 0 litres).
3. Tank Reserve - Breakpoint when the fuel reserve lamp lights up (works setting 10 litres).
4. Tank 1/4 - Breakpoint for 1/4 tank level (works setting 19 litres).
5. Tank 1/2 - Breakpoint for 1/2 tank level (works setting 38 litres).
6. Tank 3/4 - Breakpoint for 3/4 tank level (works setting 58 litres).
7. Tank Night Panel (works setting 15 litres).
