DICE starts the cooling fan when Trionic 7 is programmed, this is why it does not receive an engine temperature signal via the bus from Trionic 7.

Follow the instructions below carefully for a successful result.

1.

Connect Tech2 to the data link connector.

2.

Start Tech2 and choose Service Programming System (SPS).

3.

Choose Request Information.

4.

Then choose: model year, car type, group, car system.

5.

Follow the directions in Tech2.

6.

Disconnect Tech 2 from the car, and connect it to the COM port on the computer (flat cable). TIS 2000 must be installed on the computer.

7.

See whether the software version on the computer is newer than the one in Trionic 7. If so, download it to Tech 2.

8.

Disconnect Tech 2 from the computer and reconnect it to the car.

9.

Start TECH2 and choose Service Programming System (SPS).

10.

Choose Program Control Module.

11.

Follow the directions in Tech2.

12.

Wait for the entire programming procedure to complete. It will take approx. 20 minutes.

13.

When the programming is complete: switch off the ignition, connect the cooling fan and test start.

If the engine does not start: Switch off the ignition, undo and refit the fuse for Trionic 7, no.17 and test start.

Marking the modification identity plate

On completion of the necessary procedure, box B4 of the modification identity plate must be marked. If the work was carried out by the importer, mark
the box with a "7". If done by a dealer, mark with an "8".
