Fit the foam cushion reinforcing plate to the back plate and replace the upholstery strips along the edge. On the 60% backrest, replace the
upholstery strips around the load hatch.

Replace the hinge plates.
Replace the backrest in the car.

To remove

Take the backrest out of the car.

Remove the plastic cover on the backrest catch, 1 screw and a bayonet clip under the handle.

Lift out the head restraint by pressing in the catches, one by hand and the other by pressing a small screwdriver against the small catch, while
pulling up the head restraint.

Loosen the clip for the head restraint sleeve with a small screwdriver while carefully prying the top with a driver so that the sleeve comes loose.
Pull up the sleeve half way, turn it half a revolution and pull it all the way out. Repeat the procedure on the remaining sleeves.

Remove the belt cover that is fastened with clips.
