5. Remove the flywheel cover plate and fit flywheel locking segment 83 94 868

6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
7. Use a screwdriver to pry out the old seal, taking care not to damage the sealing surface.

To Fit

1. Fit a new seal using fitting tool 83 94 876.
2. Fit the crankshaft pulley.

Tightening torque 175 Nm (139 ft. lbs.).

3. Remove the flywheel locking segment and fit the flywheel cover plate.
4. Drive in the wedge to raise the engine.
