Remove the engine cover.

Cut off the cable tie securing the check valve to the valve cover.

Detach the vacuum hose from the valve cover and the throttle body.

Transfer the insulation sleeve from the old hose to the new.

Attach the new hose to the camshaft cover nipple and to the throttle body.

Important

The check valve should be turned so that the flow is directed from the valve cover to the throttle body, see the arrow on the check valve.

Fasten the non-return valve to the valve cover using a cable tie.

Check that the ignition key is in the OFF position.

Remove the screw for the turbocharger delivery pipe's mounting to the throttle body.

Remove the turbocharger delivery pipe from the throttle body and turn back the pipe. Take care with the O-ring.

Turn the throttle body to the open position. Clean and dry the inside of the throttle body, especially around the outer sealing edge of the throttle
plate. Use a lint-free cloth moistened with electronics cleaner safe for use with oxygen sensors.

Lubricate the O-ring with acid-free petroleum jelly and mount the turbocharger delivery pipe to the throttle body.

Refit the screw for the turbocharger delivery pipe's mounting to the engine and the hose clamp at the pipe's mounting to the throttle body.*

Fit the engine cover.

Open the coolant expansion tank cap to release the overpressure in the cooling system. Close the cap.

! WARNING

Exercise care if the car is warm. The coolant is hot and there is also a risk of burning yourself on the manifold.

Place a receptacle under the car.
