5. Mark the position and remove the appropriate big-end bearing cap.
6. Push the piston and connecting rod out of the cylinder bore. Fit the bearing shells and bearing cap loosely on the crankshaft. Remove the gudgeon

pin circlip and drive out the gudgeon pin using a plastic mallet and drift.
