The button switches between AC OFF, ON and OFF. Note that the LED in the AUTO button comes on irrespective of whether the AC OFF button is ON
or OFF.

The system is set in accordance with the following with AC OFF:

Using the fan knob the system goes from position 0 (fan off) to OFF.
