The CD changer receives theft protection information over the bus from DICE and TWICE. If the theft protection information is incorrect, CDC
LOCKED or CDC CODE will be shown.

If the theft protection for the CD changer (marriage or divorce) is programmed without DICE and TWICE on the bus, CDC LOCKED or CDC
CODE will be displayed.

No Sound on One or Both Channels of the CD Changer

No Sound On One Or Both Channels Of The CD Changer. The SID Displays CD Changer Information.

Fault symptoms

No sound on one of the two channels from the CD changer. Both channels are working for the CD player, radio and cassette player.

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to check if there are intermittent breaks and short-circuits in the leads. Observe the
multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic instrument during the test.
