Cars in stock must be rectified before delivery.
A personal communication must be sent to the owners of cars already delivered requesting them to get in touch with the nearest Saab garage as soon as
possible to have the fault rectified.
Cars affected
Saab 9-5 M02 with engines B205E, B235E and B235R within VIN range 23042580 - 23057329.
Background
Due to a processing error to the oil thermostat housing plug, oil leakage may occur.

Oil leakage, oil pressure lamp switches on

Procedure
Before proceeding, check box D3 on the modification identity plate. If necessary, fit a new modification identity plate according to SI 801-2332. If the
box is not filled in, continue as follows.
1.
Raise the car. Remove the front section of the lower engine cover and fold it down.
2.
Place a receptacle underneath the car and remove the plug. Leave the spring and thermostat unit in place.
