Seat Belt: Service and Repair

Rear-Seat Belts, 4D

To remove

1

Remove the C-pillar trim (fastened with clips).

Unscrew the lower seat-belt mounting and remove the strap guide from the C-pillar trim.
Draw the belt through the C-pillar trim.

Remove the upper belt mounting from the C-pillar, 2 nuts.

To fit

IMPORTANT

Ensure that the belt runs correctly.
Check that the door seals fit correctly.

Fit in reverse order.

Tightening torques:
Inertia reel mounting nuts 45 Nm (33 lbf ft).
Floor mounting 45 Nm (33 lbf ft).

Rear-Seat Belts, 5D

To remove

1

Remove the parcel shelf, if fitted.

2

Lift out the cover over the storage compartment in the boot and lift out the storage box.

3

Remove the scuff plate, 2 covers, screws and clips.
