Tailgate Hinges, 5D

To remove

Remove the tailgate.

Remove the gas spring from the hinge.

Remove the bolt securing the hinge on the inside.

Remove the side supports.

Pull off the weatherstrip sufficiently to reveal the cover plates.

Remove the side cover plates.

7

Remove the upper cover plate.

8

Unscrew the two bolts on the outside of the body.

9

Lift out the hinge.
