Background
When doors are mounted during manufacturing, some windows can end up 1 mm too high up.
This means that the door windows press out the weatherstrips when in their closed position. This results in wind and road noise.
Diagnostic Procedure
Remove the trim from the front door and adjust the set screws 1-2 mm upwards, see illustration. Refit the trim and test-drive the car to check that the
window lift is correctly adjusted.
