86 12 335 Reference resistor

Procedure

1.

Remove seats as described in WIS, see 8. Body / Seats / Front seat.

2.

Remove centre console as described in WIS, see 8. Body / Interior equipment / Centre console.

3.

Fold back the carpets to expose the wiring harness and cable conduits. Open the cover on the cable conduits on both sides.

4.

Unplug the connector from the control unit.

5.

Cut off cable tie from cable outlet and unplug connector.

6.

Extract cable lugs from positions 10,11, 13 and 14. Press away lock tab with a small screwdriver.

Note:

The lock tab may have to be pressed away a second time when the cable lug is half way out of the connector.

7.

Clip off the cable lugs, fold cable ends back on wiring - harness and secure with tape.
