2. Install the outside handle lock rods to the latch as previously noted.
3. Install the inside handle lock rods to the latch as previously noted.
4. Position the latch in order to connect the electrical connectors as needed.
5. Install the latch to the door.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Notice).
6. Install the 3 screws that retain the latch to the door.
Tighten the screws to 10 Nm (22 in. lbs.).
7. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement (See: Front Door Handle/Front Door Interior Handle/Service and Repair
).
8. Connect the lock cylinder rod to the cylinder, if equipped.
9. Install the lock rod to the outside door handle.
10. Connect the lock rod retaining clip to the outside door handle.
11. Install the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Door
Water Deflector Replacement).
12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (See: Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front Side Door Trim
Panel Replacement).
