Important: Install a rubber cap or plug to the exposed brake hose fitting ends in order to prevent brake fluid loss and contamination.
4. Plug the brake pipes.
5. Remove the master cylinder mounting nuts.
6. Remove the master cylinder assembly.
7. Drain the master cylinder of brake fluid.
Installation Procedure
1. Bench bleed the master cylinder. Refer to Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding (See: Procedures/Master Cylinder Bench Bleeding).
2. Install the master cylinder assembly.
