4. If equipped with a 4.2L engine, install the catalytic converter to muffler nuts (1).

Tighten the nuts to 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).

5. Install the right rear coil spring, if equipped. Refer to Coil Spring Replacement (See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Spring (

Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair/Rear Suspension).

6. Position the shock absorbers and install the lower mounting bolts. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement (See: Steering and

Suspension/Suspension/Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber/Service and Repair/Rear Suspension/Shock Absorber Replacement).

7. Install the rear axle brace. Refer to Rear Axle Brace Replacement (See: Steering and Suspension/Suspension/Axle Beam/Service and Repair).
8. Install the rear axle tie rod. Refer to Rear Axle Tie Rod Replacement (See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Tie Rod/Service and Repair/Rear

Suspension).

9. Install the spare tire.

10. Install the frame brace. Refer to Frame Brace Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Frame/Service and Repair).
