Top Stack Stop Bracket Adjustment Procedure
In order to correctly perform the following adjustment, a special gauge must be made from a metal or plastic ruler, or other strip stock (Figure 2). A used
oil dipstick makes a good gauge.
1.
Open the top slightly less than all the way to provide adequate access.
2.
Loosen the two mounting bolts (1/2 in. heads) for the top stack locating bracket (lower stop).

Position the gauge as shown (Figure 3) and adjust the position of the stop. Any error in the adjustment should be towards moving the stop bracket
higher, never lower. Retighten the bolts.
4.
Repeat this procedure for the other side.
