Air Filter Element: Service and Repair
1.
Remove rubber bellows from air flow sensor and throttle valve housing.
2.
Remove bolts securing lower section of air flow meter to air cleaner.
3.
Raise mixture control unit slightly and remove cleaner element. Avoid damaging fuel line.
4.
Remove cleaner element holder from bottom of air cleaner.
5.
Clean air cleaner casing.
6.
Install cleaner element holder and new element.
7.
Bolt air flow meter to air cleaner.
8.
Install rubber bellows between air flow sensor and throttle housing.
