When the throttle plate is between idle and 72°, continuity exists between between terminals 1 and 2 of the throttle position relay, Fig. 26. At this
time, terminal 31A of the speed relay is grounded. After the butterfly has moved past the 72° angle, contact is made between terminals 2 and 3. This
creates the ground circuit to terminal TK in the AC relay (disengageing the AC clutch) to terminal 11 of the decel relay and then to terminal 11 in the
ECU, thereby maintaining a minimum pulse ratio of 92%.
