Some splitting of the door panel plastic skin has been discovered along the upper sill and to prevent the possibility of this happening to your car, new
style panels are being made available. This is not a safety recall.

Supplies of upgraded inner door panels will be very limited at the start of this campaign. We suggest that you call your Saab dealer and reserve new door
panels in your name. It is planned that adequate quantities of panels will be available to begin repairs in April and complete all cars involved by
mid-June. Please make arrangements with your Saab dealer to contact you to have the work performed without delay once the parts have arrived. If your
dealer has already ordered new door panels for you, be sure to let him know you received this notice. Henceforth all panels delivered will be the new
style, identified by a leather covering above the velour insert.

There will be no charge to install the new door panels under this campaign. The work will take less than an hour to complete.

Thank you for purchasing a Saab Convertible. If you have already experienced door panel problems, we appreciate your patience. If damage has not yet
occurred, we nevertheless urge you to contact your dealer about this product upgrade offer within the next 90 days.
