Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Brake Fluid Reservoir

1.

Remove accumulator, refer to ACCUMULATOR.

2.

Remove hydraulic unit, refer to HYDRAULIC UNIT.

3.

Disconnect pump inlet hose from brake fluid reservoir, then remove reservoir to hydraulic unit attaching screw.

4.

Lift reservoir off hydraulic unit, then remove rubber bushings from hydraulic unit. Take care not to lose spacer and O-ring on rear connection.

5.

Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install two new rubber bushings into hydraulic unit.
b. Bleed brake system, refer to Brakes and Traction Control/Brakes/Service and Repair. 
c. Switch ignition on and ensure brake-warning and ABS-warning lights go off.
