Band: Adjustments
Front Band
Up To Serial Nos. 001-1700 & 002-2800
1.
Remove rear bottom cover, then loosen locknut and install .25 inch spacer (part No. 8790073) between adjusting screw and piston rod.
2.
Tighten adjusting screw to specification, then back off screw one turn.
3.
Tighten locknut to specification while holding adjusting screw in position.
Beginning Serial Nos. 001-1701 & 002-2801
1.
Remove rear bottom cover, then loosen locknut and install .35 inch spacer (part No. 8791030) between adjusting screw and piston rod.
2.
Tighten adjusting screw to specification, then tighten locknut to specification while holding adjusting screw in position.
