On cars built after VIN Serial No. G1019060, a modified bracket is introduced for the dashboard mounting. With this modification the dashboard
corner at the glovebox can be adjusted along the car to achieve a better fit at the glove compartment door (see arrows).
Before refitting the glovebox to the car, check that the corner of the dashboard can be adjusted about 10 mm by loosening the screw at the corner
of the dashboard.

On cars without adjustment possibility, remove the two screws which hold the bracket to the Apillar and the one at the end of the dashboard. The
work can be done through the mounting place for the glovebox.

Modify the bracket by filing off the marked triangle 5 x 7 mm and extend the hole 8 mm to a slot of 17 x 8 mm, according to the marked area.

Reconnect the fresh air vent to the glovebox assembly.
