A new brake pad for the Saab 9000 rear brakes has been introduced into production and spare parts inventory. This new pad is to be used for all pad
replacement on all 9000 vehicles. Please make notations of this application change in all counter materials used for rapid search for fast moving parts,
including Quick Reference Books.

Note:

This brake pad should NOT be used in place of 89 68 026 on 900 applications. The physical dimensions of the pads are the same, but the
braking characteristics differ, making the new 9000 pad unsuitable for use on 900 vehicles.
