Introduction

Saab is conducting a Service Campaign for the purpose of checking and tightening the inlet hose clamps on 9000 Turbos. These clamps may have been
insufficiently tightened at assembly and could cause an inlet air leak if not re-tightened (see Owner Notice for VIN Serial No. range).

Purchasers of affected vehicles will receive the owner notice pictured below. The owner notice will advise the owner to bring his car to his Saab dealer
for a free repair. Owner notices for this repair will be mailed approximately one week after you receive this S.I. Please schedule owners who contact your
dealership as soon as possible.

There are no parts or parts shipments involved in this campaign.

Warranty Information

Use a regular warranty claim as in all Saab Service Campaigns. Follow the claim instructions given below. No additional parts or time may appear on the
claim.

Labor Allowance:

Tighten inlet hose clamps - Use Labor Operation #10398 (0.2 hour).
