Shift Cable: Adjustments

Adjusting

Select neutral on transmission.

Undo nut.

Set the selector lever to position N and tighten the nut.

Tightening torque: 10 ± 2 Nm.

Check the position in the opening in the cover. There should be play in positions P and 1. If there is no play, adjust the position of the selector
lever.  See: Shifter A/T/Adjustments

Check the adjustment in positions N and 0. The play in the selector lever should be the same in both positions.
