Place evaporator in casing. The inner grooves are for the evaporator and the outer for the fresh air filter.

Place the recirculation flap and fresh air filter in position. Install the upper part of the evaporator casing and the plastic clip. Check that the
recirculation flap is in the correct position. Change the seal if it is damaged.

Install the anti-freeze thermostat. Check that the capillary tube is in the right position (bottom).

Install the recirculation motor.

Install the expansion valve. Do not do up the connections.

Important :  Install new O-rings to the connections. Lubricate O-rings with synthetic vaseline.

Install the sensitive body to the evaporator output. Make sure that contact is good. Carefully insulate the sensitive body

Install the desiccant container. Do up all connections.

Check that electric cables are correctly positioned in the car.

Installation

Lift the evaporator casing into position in the car. Center it so that the seal is correctly positioned against the fan housing. Install the evaporator
casing screw. Make sure that the evaporator casing draining pipe is correctly positioned on the housing as illustrated.

Plug in fan control connections, air recirculation flap motor, anti-freeze thermostat and the desiccant container pressure switch. Install the cover
over the anti-freeze thermostat.

Reinstall all parts which have been removed.

Fill the system with refrigerant. See "Refrigerant".

Carry out a performance test.
