Drive Belt: Service and Repair
Replace Multi-groove Belt
MULTIGROOVE BELT WITHOUT AUTOMATIC TENSIONER:
1. Remove the A/C compressor drive belt.
2. Slacken the idler wheel pulley center bolt 1/4 - 1/2 a turn.
3. Slacken the belt by means of the nut on the adjuster.
4. Change the belt, fitting the new one as shown.
5. Tension the bet by means of the nut on the adjuster.
6. Lock the idler wheel pulley by means of the center bolt.
