Certain 1992 9000 Models
Under the right circumstances, such as, using the "Toll Booth" feature on both front windows at the same time or operating both rear windows while the
car is in reverse, the 25 amp window motor fuses can blow. If you have had customer complaints of this nature, please follow the instructions below.

Actions:
1.
Early 1992 9000 Models
a.
When the customer complains of a blown window motor fuse, replace the 25 amp fuse with a 30 amp fuse, Figure 1.
b.
If the car is returned with a blown 30 amp fuse, replace the 30 amp fuse vath a new 30 amp fuse and verify the motor is causing fuses to blow.
If so, replace the motor, Figure 2, and the 30 amp fuse.
2.
From the producton of the VIN's listed below, the motor specification was changed to compensate for possible blown fuses. If a problem with a
blown fuse is still encountered on these later vehicles, replace the 25 amp fuse a 30 amp fuse.
1992 9000 Models manufactured with the new specification motors are listed below.
