Before reinstalling, thoroughly clean the contact surfaces between the carrier and the pads.

1. Reinstall the outboard brake pad.

Then install the inboard pad, locating the 3 centering springs in the brake piston.

2. Reinstall the hydraulic body.
3. Install the guide pins and tighten them.

Tighten to: 27 Nm (20.5 ft lb)

Install the covers in place.

4. Install the retaining clip.
5. Install the front wheel and tighten the wheel bolts, using a torque wrench.

-

Tighten to: 120 Nm (89 ft lb)

Important:  Depress the brake pedal to press out the brake pads towards the disc.
