Mark the new bushing as illustrated.

Apply acid-free petroleum jelly (part no. 30 06 665) to the outer sleeve of the new bushing and inside the engine mount, and position the bushing
correctly with the bevelled end towards the engine mount.
Important
Make sure the bushing fits true in the engine mount.

Press in the new bushing half way.
Important
There is risk of damaging the threaded rod of the tool if the bushing is fitted too deep before reversing the tool.
Reverse the fork of the tool and pull in the bushing until the sleeve is aligned with the engine mount.

Insert the bolt into the inner sleeve of the bushing.
Important
Take care not to damage any paintwork.
If necessary, the inner sleeve can be tilted slightly with an angled Allen key or similar tool.

Fit the torque arm.
