Installation

1. Press the ball bearing onto the righthand drive shaft in a press using press tube tool No. 78 41 067, or equivalent, and secure using the circlip.
2. Using driver tube tool No. 87 91 311, or equivalent, press in the drive shaft together with the bearing and shaft seal.
3. Install the circlip for the drive shaft and the O-ring.

Automatic transmissions, including the driver, are extremely sensitive to contamination.

The smallest amount of dirt can cause reduced performance or transmission breakdown.

It is therefore extremely important that the transmission is clean and that other parts are carefully cleaned before removal and installing.
