Removal

1. Remove the four screws of the seal holder.

Put the screws and shims in a safe place.

2. Press out the bearing race with driver tool No. 87 90 800, or equivalent, using sleeve tube tool No. 87 92 236 as support, or equivalent.

Installation

1. Turn the gear case over and insert the bearing race using a plastic hammer.
2. Then press down the bearing race with installing sleeve tool No. 87 92 202, or equivalent, until the tool reaches the bottom of the gear case.
3. Install the seal holder with a nominal packet of shims of 1.4 mm.

Pull down the bearing race, tightening  alternately with the seal holder.

Tightening torque: 33-43 Nm Nm (24-32 ft. lbs.)
