GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT FUSES
The car's +12 V power supply is carried to the various consumer units (items of electrical equipment) via three main fuse boxes, one behind the
glove box, one in the engine bay by the left-hand headlamp and one on the engine bay side of the bulkhead partition for the ABS brakes. Most of
the fuses and relays are located in the main fuse boxes.
The fuses are of blade type and, together with their connecting sockets, give rise to a lower voltage drop than earlier types. They are also more
resistant to corrosion.
