Throttle Body: Adjustments

1. Remove the plastic pipe.
2. Screw the adjusting screw to a position where it touches the stop (throttle fully closed).
3. Screw in the adjusting screw an additional 1/3. turn and secure it by means of the locknut. This will leave a clearance of about 0.05 mm (0.002 in)

between throttle valve and throttle body.

4. Check that the length of the throttle cable does not prevent the throttle valve from reaching the idle speed position and that there is no free play in

the accelerator.

5. Check that the valve opens fully when the accelerator is in the wide open throttle position (fully depressed).
