Apply two rectangular pieces of felt tape. P/N 96 98 846, as shown in Figure 3, item 2.

Close the cover.

Rattles/squeaks in airbag connector (passenger side only):

-1995 9000 models up to and including VIN Serial No. S1003179

Remove the two screws on the airbag lower cover.

Remove the airbag unit cover on the passenger side taking care not to damage the clips. See Figure 4, item 2. You can obtain special Airbag
removal tool, P/N 82 92 997 from Kent-Moore. Use of this tool facilitates removal of the airbag cover.
