Cellular Phone: Description and Operation

Cars for certain markets are pre-wired for the installation of a mobile telephone, for instance. Current from fuse 20 (+30 circuit) and fuse 13 (+15 circuit)
is supplied via a special 4-pin connector, which also has a ground connection.

IMPORTANT

1. When fitting a mobile telephone, etc., the lead from the +15 circuit cannot be used as a power supply lead and must only be used for operating

relays.

2. When using a mobile telephone or other type of transmitter inside the car, it must always be connected to an external aerial.
