Radiator Cooling Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection
When checking these systems refer to wiring circuits Figs. 4 and 5.
1.
Check cooling fan fuse and ensure that supply to it is live.
2.
Check for voltage at the temperature switch.
3.
Check radiator fan operation by connecting a jumper wire across temperature switch terminals.
4.
Run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature and ensure temperature switch turns fan on.
5.
Check connectors, cable harnesses and ground connections.
