To Remove

Both the motors are changed as a unit.

Left-hand drive cars with no passenger air-bag:
Remove the glove compartment and fold down the electrical distribution box.

Left-hand drive cars with a passenger air-bag and right-hand drive cars:
Remove the upper pan of the facia. On right-hand drive cars, the main instrument must also be lifted out.

Remove the right-hand air duct.

Remove the right-hand side defroster duct.

Remove the right-hand defroster duct.

Remove the clip and free the control cable.

Cut the cable tie around the lead to the connector.

Unplug the connector and press it out of the flap motor mounting.

Remove the flap motor mounting.

Pull out the blended air temperature sensor. Lift away the flap motor mounting and the sensor.

Press both the sensor leads out of the connector. The leads do not need to be marked. Their internal placing is not important.
