Air Diverter Valve: Service and Repair

To Remove

1. Remove the mass air flow sensor.
2. Unplug the intake air temperature sensor's electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the air pump hose from the intermediate piece.
4. Undo the clips securing the intermediate piece to the air cleaner.
5. Remove the intermediate piece.
6. Undo the hose clips securing the vacuum hoses to the vacuum valve.
7. Remove the vacuum hose from the top of the valve.
8. Remove the valve.

To Check

Blow air into the valve by means of the pressure/vacuum pump to check that it is in working order.

To Fit

Fit in reverse order. 
Note the arrow on the vacuum valve.
